Corporate Overview

The Savers® Family of Thrift stores is the largest for-profit thrift operator in the United States and Canada. Our mission is to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature.

By partnering with non-profit organizations, we redirect billions of pounds of secondhand clothing and household goods away from landfills and onto our store racks and shelves for reuse – conserving the planet’s natural resources. Over the last five years (2018-2022), we diverted more than 3.2 billion pounds of goods from landfills and paid more than $580 million to our non-profit partners for secondhand clothing and household goods.

Through a data-driven vertically integrated model that maximizes productivity across the supply, retail and wholesale components of the business, we are revolutionizing thrift operations. Last year alone (2022), our thrifters purchased more than 279 million items, contributing to $1.4 billion in net sales – proving that what’s good for business can also be good for people and the planet.

That’s our triple bottom line and why we are so proud to be leading the reuse economy.
